I'm waiting until their fediverse integration is more complete. Bridging is confusing already; I'm not quite ready to support Threads users with only a partial fediverse implementation.
Iβm very much for this.
Also kinda curious what you see with regards to the posts that have been made from Facebook to Threads because already that implementation is not showing up on Mastodon for me and I think THAT is also going to mess with people.
I was trying to figure out why this is such a shockingly simple and reasonable answer and itβs because I think in the back of my mind I was thinking of federation being account or whole account vs potentially per post? (Itβs late and I could be wrong in how Iβm saying this.)
"Follow to opt-in" isn't strictly necessary (web form was original plan). Right now these are all manually enabled.
bsky.app/profile/snar... and up thread has a bit more info.
This is super exciting to fix the fragmentation problem that the loss of Twitter caused. I can't wait! There's quite a few people I'd love to follow on Threads but I like the UI here better.
so stoked about this!
lookin at the docs fed.brid.gy/docs#fediver... on how to make my domain the owner, but I'm on Deno and not sure I can author .well-known hosts. I can make my own / end points. Any tips?! π
