being anti-emoji is a severe affectation at this point unless we're taking about the poop emoji. if an editor uses one of those even once I will be break contract whether I have to give the advance back or no
wait why would an editor use the poop emoji? I could see **maybe** using it with an author I know really well and have worked with for YEARS. but even then I’d probably just write words. editorial work doesn’t seem like the venue for that particular emoji
