Day 9 of early morning writing grind! I think today I'm going to transpose what I've written longhand into good ol Scrivener, tweaking as I go.

My goal is to write today, so we shall see if my tiny boss allows me to do so

We are in the CRAP NAP phase of infanthood, which means I bounce the baby for 30 minutes and then she sleeps for 30 minutes, and then an hour later we start again. My quads are nuts, my joints hurt, and no one is coming to save us

My mom very sweetly sent me a plant for my first Mothers’ Day! I open the box and this is what’s inside:

Ok so here is the thing. The Hugos have been fucky for the entire time I’ve been engaged in the SFF community. So like 12-15 years? It’s basically a coin toss each year whether someone is like “DID YOU HEAR ABOUT…?”

Not to mention that this now casts doubt on every previous winner of a Hugo Award. How many times were the awards censored before and NO ONE KNEW ABOUT IT? I would love to see proof that nothing like this has ever happened before, but I’m cynical that it can even be proven. 7/
