It also makes clear how the rest of the media, especially the NYT, could cover the story. But they affirmatively choose not to do so.

This is Time magazine. Has The New York Times ever once described the situation this plainly?
As you can see, it's not difficult. Just the plain truth in plain language. No "partisanship" or "activism" at all. The NYT (and etc.) can hew to their own standards while still informing the public.
Utterly chilling. Basically he plans to crown himself Emperor Donald (lord of all he surveys & womb-checker-in-chief) and cancel democracy in the US. If this doesn’t scare the bejesus out of floating or apathetic voters, it’s difficult to imagine what would?!
I know I’ve said this before. But the way all of this tracks with my book (out next year) about the lead up to Nazis and how their hatred turned into genocide, is uncanny and terrifying. I’m going to try and add an addendum to the last chapter covering some of this. So scary.
