DC Comics I have an idea: Batman Scrabble. It’s like regular scrabble but every word has to start with Bat

Do you remember where I left off with Nikolai Dante? Um, months ago? Fear not, because Volume Six brings us a status reset from Robbie Morrison, John Burns, and the returning Simon Fraser!

In a troubling move, I've added a publication date for every issue Shelfdust has ever written about. The earliest comic we've ever covered? From 1946

Still think the ideal thing would be if we could drill a big hole and sink the country into the sea

Looked at election coverage and every channel's lineup is filled with former politicians who in many cases were directly terrible and left in disgrace? Feels grim to watch them get paid to debate over the country they completely let down
Avatar
You probably don’t want to hear about Button Man anyway right

Feel like it’d be a good time to do a lengthy thread about a 2000 AD book I’m reading, really clog up the feed

I made a free zine dedicated to the best place to watch pro wrestling, Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. It's 64 pages of photos I've taken from 2019-2023, & one page with a match guide. In between that first run and the last, I got serious about photos. I hope you dig it davidbrothers.itch.io/korakuen-hal...

One of my favorite moments during our abbreviated publicity run for Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen was on a panel when someone asked @mattfraction.bsky.social what he thought old Jimmy stories were about. Matt made his eyes huge, leaned into the mic and moaned "myteenagebodyischangingwhatdoesitMEAN?"

People often write about the first issue of a new comic book series. But how often do they write about the last issue? Dust To Dust, a series of essays about finales: shelfdust.com/tag/dust-to-...
