The Iberian Lynx has now been reclassified from "Endangered" to "Vulnerable" as the species has jumped from 62 mature individuals to 648 in the space of 21 years, with an estimated total population now >2,000

At current population growth rates, we should expect @boozybadger.bsky.social to have a half dozen of them prowling about his house within five years as Boozy tries to figure out where they came from
Really wonderful news, but this definitely isn't the time to rest or say "mission accomplished". Gotta get that population back up. Hopefully the volcanic unrest at Campi Flegrei won't endanger them.
