There's a lot of coordination between the national abortion advocacy groups & state organizations. Unfortunately, though, 24 states do not have ballot initiative or referendum procedures that would allow their citizens to put this or any other issue up for a vote.

I’ve definitely had a few AI essays this semester, and I just graded them like I would any other essay that had no supporting evidence, got basic facts about the reading wrong, and didn’t actually respond to the whole prompt. 🤷🏻

Universities often have ridiculous reasons for doing ridiculous things. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to learn that some Columbia admin was worried about, like, getting the grass ready for commencement & demanded that the student encampment had to immediately go. The justifications will be many.
