I looked it up and it turns out there were zero book related deaths in 2023 and so far none in 2024 so, I don’t know, books may not be the problem.

Spend like 2 hrs with STEAM highschool girls and end up strongly thinking about becoming a high school science teacher someone talk me out of this

It is!! We are a public institution so this can be considered public $ - used in a case defending the university for *not* supporting a scholar doing PUBLIC good in a global pandemic, fulfilling the uni’s critic and conscience obligation.

I still find it obscene that the UoA wasted 1.2M+ on getting to this point. With no consequences for those who made that call?
