Right. They are sitting pretty right now. If he wins, they can say they stuck by him and get even more out of this administration in terms of their priorities (especially domestically, where they are already quite aligned). If he loses, it wasn't their fault. It'll be age!

Malinowski is just mad the NJ Dem party, post-2020 census, protected Andy Kim's seat and one more House seat by putting ca. 12,000 more Republicans into Malinowski's district, causing him to lose reelection. He had only won by like 5K votes in 2020 & wasn't a good risk.
