Not having this from the people who pissed themselves every day Corbyn was leader because he didn't want to coddle their emotional support settler colony or was going to make them treat minorities like equals. Fuck Labour and fuck this loser.

It's not "they didn't make it the way I wanted it" it's, they're actively a threat to my person and are going to take my and other people's rights away. Don't like that people are noticing that? Take it up with the Ham-in-Chief not with randoms with no power.

It's crass, but every person who espouses that position should be made to answer, what exactly it is about dead trans people, dead Muslims, dead disabled people that makes them love this iteration of Labour so much?
Avatar
Pretty sure this guy wasn’t espousing “hold your nose and vote Labour even if it’s not exactly what you want, diddums” in 2019

He was 100% on the "if you vote Labour you're a Nazi" train. Well it sucks to suck because Kieth is 100% more guilty of that shit than even the fictional Corbyn these people made up ever was.

Yeah, the ex-NME writer to water-carrier for the centre-right pipeline is very real
Avatar
It’s astonishing how common that seems to be, not sure I understand it

He sailed very close to Linehan-ism at one point too – making snide comments about trans people, pro-JKR posts, etc but seems to have backed down. To think this was once Steven Wells' writing partner. Wrong kid died.

God I loved Wells, who never lost his will to fight even on his deathbed. Sadly missed these days.
Avatar
Me too. I even loved it when he excoriated a band I liked. Still surprised there is no published collection of his work.

Still got the SWells/Attila book of collected poems somewhere. Plenty of pubs round these parts that could be the Charles Bronson Arms.

I'm afraid trans people, Palestinans, homeless people, the GRT community etc aren't on the centrist dinner party list so unfortunately, their human rights aren't a concern.

Lmao. He deleted and reposted to dodge the ratio

People like Quantik will never make a solid argument why a Labour vote is good, 'not the Tories' isn't good enough. Instead they'll just be smug and patronising. Which I'm sure works wonders as a persuasion tactic
Avatar
Yes, I am not going to vote for the party whose policies I believe are bad. That seems fundamental to the concept of voting. *tactical voting not relevant in my constituency

Why are people still talking about Corbyn in UK? He achieved absolutely nothing. I don't get it.
Avatar
Press hyperfixation and people reacting to it.
Avatar
Basically: the worse things have become in the UK, the more the press have talked about him, to justify their derangement. So people react and reach for him as an example of the derangement.
Avatar
The establishment keep going on about him because he scares them.
Avatar
I doubt he scares them tbf. He's running as an independent afaik. Might take a Labour seat but that's about it.
Avatar
It is the left they are scared of more than him personally. But he has been the most popular left wing leader in the UK for a long time.
Avatar
He was popular. Not as popular as Blair. Or not as popular as Starmer (smaller vote share than both). But he didn't do anything. Good person, seems like had some good policies. But, didn't get in office.

Why did you ask the question if you weren't interested in answers?

She took a block from me it has to be said, mostly for being a very silly person and, let's face it, an embarrasing lickspittle

Hahahahah he deleted it and then reposted it again just now 🙃
