She was always at her best, for me, when she was pursuing her music career. Her as a reluctant super hero felt kinda mean. She didn't want to be there.
Always found that inner conflict so compelling. She only wanted to be a performer, but she had such a strong moral compass that it was like she couldn't help but keep falling into the superhero gig.
