We incarcerate a higher percentage of our population than all other western countries, most of the people Black, based on laws designed to alienate those people. Whites live in fear of equal rights because they fear being treated the way minorities have been treated in the U.S. I am white, FYI.

I don't think you need that "almost" in there, unless some other country has gotten real jail happy recently?
