I checked out the Fox In The Snow car crash scene last night on my way home from @transitcolumbus.bsky.social — here we see the empty lot the car drove through, and a 4" fence post it knocked over. Great for marking lot lines; not for stopping cars.

I took a look at where Columbus is building crosswalks on Cleveland Avenue. It looks like they aren't being built where the most pedestrian-involved crashes are occurring. benlk.com/2024/03/08/c... #Columbus #TrafficSafety

It’s Election Day in Ohio. I chose not to vote in several races because I refuse to support those that continue to allow a genocide to take place under their watch, are not taking drastic enough action on climate, and perpetuate the status quo that undermines our democracy.

Traffic engineering failure. It’s bad enough pedestrians have to cross four one-way lanes of high speed traffic without a signal. Why oh why would you put that crossing downstream of an intersection so pedestrians also have to worry about left and right hooks? Summit St and Fourth Ave, Columbus, OH
