The most interesting airport in Europe that is accessible with normal scheduled flights is probably Gibraltar Airport. Its runway is cut in half by a road, so you can walk across it. This is because the runway provides the only access to Gibraltar itself :)

Traveling from Copenhagen Airport to the city center takes maybe less effort as transferring between terminals at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
A fast, cheap and convenient way from the airport is something I appreciate a lot. In 🇩🇰 Copenhagen, self-driving subway takes you to the city centre in ~15 mins (24/7!) or you can use bike. And the airport itself is well designed and functional. CPH recommended!

You know what's fun? That there are still a lot of airports in Europe I haven't been to... even huge like Frankfurt
Over the past 15 years, I've visited 187 airports across Europe and nearby, mostly flying with low-cost carriers and without luggage. Overall, I found Europe's airports to be really good, with few exceptions (RO, FR, IT..) Here are some of the best, worst, and other insights from my experiences: ↴

I really recommend this little guy, its also fine for carry-on travel (almost)... I have flown hundreds of flights with it all over europe (until they confiscated it in Bari, but that's Bari)
My favourite fidget toy is one of these guys

Ad Netflix - Does anyone know of any tools to find out which movies are available in which country? or where's the best place to get a account (widest library)? It's a huge mess, something is available in one country and not in another...
It's on Netflix, but apparently only available for Ukrainians, which doesn't make much sense. This should be worldwide. www.netflix.com/title/81771289

I just watched "20 Days In Mariupol" (2023).. heartbreaking. Everybody should see this documentary I'm thinking about what it's like in Mariupol today, 2 years after it tragically became part of Russia... 20daysinmariupol.com

That's not the real cryptocurrency industry—it's the centralized impostors, aka CeFi.
It’s finally time to release my newest project: FollowTheCrypto.org. This website provides a real-time lens into the cryptocurrency industry’s efforts to influence 2024 elections in the United States.

the weird thing about being on the internet is nobody really notices when you disappear cause there’s always enough stuff to fill the timeline. i’m overstating it but it’s partially true. there’s nonzero count of people you forgot about because they stopped posting or deactivated

Great to hear that Signal is finally not doxxing phone numbers
This is very silly, but I had been using Signal as my contacts app for years and now that you can’t get people’s phone numbers or usernames out of Signal anymore, I have no one’s contact info anymore. If it makes sense for me to have yours, please send it to me again. Thank you!

Please do read “The Invincible.” It’s hard sci-fi, so ideas loom larger than characters. Still a gripping read. Lem wrote it in 1963, but the premise of the book would only become a mainstream technological field in the late 1990s.
Played The Invincible - fantastic experience! Gorgeous visuals, amazing story. It's game exactly for me. Like Firewatch meets Bioshock. Love this retro-futuristic style! I've never read anything by Stanisław Lem, and now I've got a great motivation. invinciblethegame.com

Something strange going on here with threads (atproto stuff) ... question to others: do you see posts to which these posts reply? I don't see them, nor do I see these replies in the original thread bsky.app/profile/mate... bsky.app/profile/mate...

I think the Americans have absolutely destroyed the meaning of tipping. It's basically more like a tax. I really don't understand why waiters can't be paid from their normal salary like everyone else.
