Yes. Part of his defense was that he never had sex with Stormy Daniels. So the prosecution could've then crossed him regarding his long history of philandering.
Trump couldn't testify because he didn't want to risk exposing himself as he really has been and really is.
And getting himself into even worse trouble.
The advantage for him is that he can now continue to try to pretend that he is and always has been much better than he has actually ever been.
