Just the phase 1 trial, but hopefully an important step toward an vaccine that prevents #COVID *infection,* and not just severe (acute) disease. If so, not only would it drastically reduce transmission, but it could provide MUCH stronger protection against #LongCOVID.

Everyone is saying that there's no way to undo a Supreme Court decision - that's not true; the Supreme Court can reverse their own decisions - they have in the past. Granted - sometimes is takes a century, but sometimes it happens in a lifetime. Hope is not lost.

So, we have kings in the US now. This is criminal behavior. However, Biden now has carte blanche to do anything as long as it's an official act - assassinate Supreme Court Justices, or Trump, or member of Congress; technically he can extend the number of terms he can serve, by executive order

Interesting discussions about archiving of digital content here this morning. When I was at a different law firm the infrastructure director and I thought it would be cool to start a company called ‘The Tech Museum’ where we would maintain hardware to read old digital media.

Several friends (some of whom are teachers) and I are now having discussions about whether Queen Gwendolen should be included in history textbooks and classroom discussions. MA is a very political place. This could actually happen.

Posted about Queen Gwendolen to friends on FB and learned about Olga whose husband was killed by Drevlians, basically wiped out the Drevlians - thousands of them - in retaliation. And then ruled as regent for her son.

More recognition needs to be given to Queen Gwendolen, who's husband cheated on her with another woman and had a daughter with that other woman. So Gwendolen raised an army, tracked him down, killed him, killed his mistress and daughter, and then ruled Britain for years, before making her son king.

When changing profile photos, what factors to take into account when you choose? I'm pretty color sensitive, so that stands out to me, and to a lesser extent shapes (still bad with faces and names though 🙄). All profile photos of me look like a first-drivers-license shot. So now I don't bother.
