the funniest way of reading today's immunity decision would be "it protects Biden from a vengeful Trump" so I can't wait to see it from a tenured professor

When I read the opinion, I thought of all the Law Prof pundits who argued that prosecuting Trump was a bad idea because it would mean every ex-President who was followed by a rival would be prosecuted, and I hope they're having a good day today.

Trump can’t be prosecuted for official acts because he’s immune also Trump prosecuting his opponents for official acts is an official act so it isn’t subject to oversight

It doesn't though, because they'll just declare Biden's crimes to be non-official actions

Or maybe Trump will make the prosecution an official action; then there's no one to stop him!
