Tories questioning Labour's 172 seat majority, won under the UK's FPTP electoral system, should remember:
Brexit was advisory & happened on a 52-48 majority.
Only 81, 326 Tory members, about 0.3% of all voters, picked Truss as PM.
Sunak was appointed: There was no vote at all.

Yep. Still far from a majority of the electorate. My point is that they have not peeped about PR until FPTP goes against them. Labour just gamed it effectively and Tory pearl clutching would be a bit more convincing if they'd ever suggested getting rid of it.
As I recall they were completely against PR when there was a vote on it back in the days of the Con-LD coalition in 2011. And they changed the system for metro mayoral elections *to* FPTP because they thought it would give them electoral advantage.
I'm not worried about the Tories. They'll be in disarray for years now and there is stacks of evidence on the record of them telling us why FPTP is fantastic. The problem for Labour is that *they* have voted in favour of getting rid of it, which is a bit awkward.
