I mean, my dad is still working full time as a construction project manager and he’s almost 67. No plans for retirement anytime soon. It’s just not feasible. But he’s hella healthy. Rides his bike almost every morning, bp and cholesterol in good range. Just wish he could enjoy himself more.

To be clear I’m not agreeing or defending working into your 70s like that. It’s fucking shitty. I’m so glad my parents have had the good fortune to generally have good health but it shouldn’t depend on that!

And my mom “retired” a while ago(aka: couldn’t find a place to hire a surg tech in their 60’s).
