Cowboy Action at Logan's Ferry. Stage one with shotgun, then rifle, then pistol, then shotgun. It is vital to remember that, when you mistakenly skip a station you do not turn around an point the gun at the audience. Got a warning. dime-novel-hero.dreamwidth.org/481682.html

When in Harper’s Ferry, VA, I strongly recommend doing the John Brown Wax Museum tour, as it checks the main tourism box: - It is filled with wax mannequins who will murder you

Time for our July Steampunk Streaming Guide. Highlights include “Mortal Engines” on Hulu/Disney+, “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” on Paramount+ and Prime Video, and all three “Back to the Future” movies on Netflix. #steampunk steampunk-explorer.com/news/streami...
Streaming Guide – July 2024steampunk-explorer.com Mortal Engines was a disappointment to many steampunk fans, but it had great visuals despite its flaws, and this month it moves from Netflix to a new streaming home on Hulu. Other notable arrivals

I just finished a steampunk/alt history series where Ludd was successful, and the ensuing society had strict prohibitions on "unseemly technology" which did not "benefit the common man". The Patent Office is the law enforcement of the day. Pretty fun read.

You know how I said I was going to Old Bedford Village's Old West Weekend in spite of the heat? I was sweating just gathering things together to go and the forcast is for it to be 20 degrees hotter than that. In Victorian clothing, waistcoat, and a wool hat? No. I am passing on that idea.

I have decided that, in spite of the excessive heat, I am going to the Wild West Weekend event at Old Bedford Village. The ongoing plague has kept me away from many such events and I miss going. Everything is outdoors so that is not a concern I cannot mitigate. oldbedfordvillage.com

Just realised I've not posted any weird ships for a while, so here's Knapp's nautical wiener. Despite excited claims it would achieve "a mile a minute" this proved to be a phallusy. Worse, Knapp couldn't control his unsolicited dick ship, and the entire project came to a fittingly limp conclusion.

I think April 9, the anniversary of Robert E Lee’s surrender at Appomattox, should be a national holiday.

Brontësaurus. Ink & gouache on Strathmore grey toned paper, 151 x 147mm, 2014. Because this seems to be doing the rounds again elsewhere. Perhaps the only piece of mine to have gone mildly viral, shunted uncredited like an orphan from workhouse to workhouse across the Internet over the years. 🤓
