What are four films you don't just dislike, you despise. 🎥 #Filmsky

Man… Deja Vu is one of the few movies I have ever tapped out on. It’s like Camille Keaton lost all acting ability and Zarchi simultaneously lost the ability to write or direct. I was just amazed how it just totally failed to work on every level.

It's so bad, it's so, so, so bad. It feels like scenes take an hour. The whole cast is so bad. And its 2 H 30 mins longs? What?

It’s one positive is that it made me appreciate the accomplishments of the remake series more. It would have been much more fun to see Camille in a role like ISOYG 3, leading a support group bent on vengeance.

I agree, I actually think the remake and its sequels are all pretty decent films. They are relentlessly grim films, so I can see why it's such a polarising franchise. And aye! 3 is the most fun and that is a great idea! Much better than what they end up doing with her!

Yeah, I was genuinely surprised by the remake series. As someone who is always weary of such projects, they pulled off a difficult task… especially considering when they got made. Deja Vu is just so inexplicably bad. It’s like a fan film made by people who only read a synopsis of the original

I think the first is such a brilliant film as well. Never seen such a dip in quality. I hope I never see a film I dislike more

Yeah, I’m an unapologetic fan of the original.

Oh same! I think it's fantastic, genuinely terrifying, she is fantastic in it, and also the use of colour is so startling at points. And her revenge? The dick chop scene is both satisfying, but also made my stomach flip, I think it's the delay on the spurt of blood. Didn't like previous phrasing

I almost put Deja Vu in *my* Top 4 Despised, but went with more known movies. For all the reasons you cited, along with how it cheapens any message the original film had. In my mind, Deja Vu makes the same mistake all the crappy remakes did: it commercializes sexual assault. Shame on you, Meir.
