@flophousepodcast.bsky.social When you did Rebel Moon last year I thought it was sort of okay. Scargiver is just boring. I could never eat a pork chop to this.
A warrior is not defined by the fights they have won, but by what they fight for. Stand for those less privileged, stand for the powerless, stand for those who will come after you. Stand for honor, or you stand for nothing at all, and are worth even less.
This Ren Fair documentary sucks so much. It could have been a Stuff You Should Know Short Stuff episode but they decided it needed to be 3 one-hour episodes.
@benjaminahr.bsky.social Opened my email and got this. Took the survey and hopefully the feedback will make future shows even better.
There's a question about why I watched weekly instead of binging so of course I name-dropped TGT. Hopefully more FoDs get this survey email!
Seven seasons and a minimum of 20 episodes. OF THOSE TWENTY, no fewer than 10 should have nothing to do with any meta plot arcs. And at least one episode where someone turns into a child/hologram/salamander/etc.
You get one Q per series.
In-n-Out isn't the best burger in California. It's a VERY GOOD burger, and it's AFFORDABLE, that's what we love about it. McDonald's is crap and costs $15 for a meal, In-n-Out is $10 and good.
The whole "wokehammer" nonsense is fascinating to me because the grifters very clearly have no idea what warhammer is, and the weirdos eating it up also have no idea, they're just mad because they need something new to be mad about.
Look at this bullshit excuse for a car. As bad as they look in photos they're worse in person. The grift is real. Also the vanity plate is just chef's kiss...

Happy #MaxFunDrive eve! Are you ready for tomorrow?
We're listening to our MaxFunDrive music while wrapping up all your Bonus Content with all little bows. Just thinking about how great you MaxFun members are and how we wouldn't be here without you.
@kentremendous.bsky.social I'm near done with my umpteenth Wire rewatch and need to know who had the nicest chair in the series. The couch from the Pit in s1 looks comfortable, but probably smells awful. Mayor's chair looks impressive, but uncomfortable. I need you help on this important matter.
Truly, why would I care what this guy says about arts and humanities any more than he would care what an English professor says about the business school?
We need to normalize telling people to STFU about things they know nothing about. Starting with people with business degrees yammering about the arts and humanities.
We do not get to choose where we are born, our culture or kin, or the condition of the world they brought us into. A true warrior lives honorably and seeks to better the world so those who come after us don't hate us for the choices we did get to make.
I think before we get too caught up in what Bluesky should or shouldn’t be we should soberly acknowledge what it is: a retirement home for 2000s forum millennials
@greatesttrek.bsky.social Okay, hear me out--2000 new and upgrading members for this year's MaxFun Drive and Ben and Adam do 12 episodes of their choice of the Pilot Season shows. 3000 new and upgrading and they do 12 of OUR choice of Pilot Season shows!
I don't understand all the Fast Cars discourse. It's clearly a song about a woman who feels a need for speed and likes cars that go wicked fast. It's right there in the name!
