As long as there are humans occupying the planet, there will be idiots. The percentage may never change, but the sheer numbers are out of control.

There was that conversation when all of these new platforms launched about which one would be the "new twitter" and Threads is that in the worst way. It's freaking awful.

It started out OK as many of us agreed to block anyone being offensive or preaching religious bigotry but it all slowly crept in.

I'm still an idiot but I'm friendly and sensible. Bsky is pretty chill 😁

Expecting there to be no idiots in a population greater than 2 is a fool's endeavour.

I'll just have to block ,block,block then.

On the plus side at least that system works better here than it does on the alternatives, what with it hiding the conversations between people in which at least one has blocked the other.

I'm not a mean person, but I do try to be silly sometimes and it makes people angry. Ah well...
