i don’t mean to come off performative here. i don’t know how to explain it with eloquence or in a way that will make everyone happy, but trans liberation is one of the most important things in my life even tho i’m a cis woman. beyond it being morally righteous, it’s incredibly personal to me.
i have suffered bc i am a woman and i continue to. now i have to watch the people i love suffer worse bc they are women but not the right “kind” according to arbitrary standards enshrined into law by people who could never understand. i don’t understand u if this doesn’t make your heart shatter.
