Painting drop! I took a trip to the Providence Flea, to see if it’s somewhere I’d like to try to sell my paintings, and the location is delightful. Providence, RI

Did I drive all the way to the beach just to take a photo of some paintings/pieces near the water? Yup. Do I even like the beach? Not too much, but it’s a great backdrop!

Two more small (5”x7”, including frames) abstract paintings. These feel very retro-90s to me.

Coconut ginger bread pudding. I made a crème anglaise to go over it. A great way to use an aging can of coconut milk and a stale loaf of bread.

A small purely abstract painting with a small bit of collage. 5”x7” on recycled wood box.

A sculptural, mixed media, found object piece I’ve been building for a bit. A clockwork wasp in a precious metal hive, maybe? 16”x7”x4”. Can stand alone or be hung on a wall.

Two more studies of abstract art made from flattened pieces of rust I’ve found as I’ve walked along the road. One trying to be more colorful, one leaning into my favorite “alien artifact” territory.

Bread and butter pickles, deviled eggs. I still have more cooking to do, but these are the first couple of things to prepare for tomorrow’s cookout.

Sometimes when you go for a walk early enough, you meet a new friend.
