The reason England are short priced is it’s because it’s English bookies that make the odds.
They are going to take far more bets on them than any other team, so the price is always shorter to protect their liabilities.
Yes, they are the "favorite" but not the favorite.
And don't get me wrong. I'm not hating on England. I feel bad that the team has to endure such abusive treatment from the media. The coverage of wins (on both sides of the pond) is full of disappointment, inadequacy, even venom. It's sad.
