I literally went to a Catholic high school in Oklahoma, and even there we didn’t have a Bible in every classroom, nor were we taught the Bible unless our parents opted into Catholicism class.
Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters issued this memo today requiring teachers in all schools to keep a Bible in their classroom and teach from it as a historical document. (Via KOCO 5 News)
And yet this SCOTUS will let it stand pretty much ignoring precedent in the case two years ago ruling in favour of the coach who was fired for leading players in prayer at the 50 yard line.
