My wife taught third grade at a Catholic school in a military and prison city, Leavenworth, Kansas, and that was her experience as well.

I know from experience that were I to teach the Bible as a text, they'd freak, because I'd start with the Hebrew and Greek text, discuss the way manuscripts were emended and altered, and the effects of politically motivated editing and translation.

And yet this SCOTUS will let it stand pretty much ignoring precedent in the case two years ago ruling in favour of the coach who was fired for leading players in prayer at the 50 yard line.
