🧶 #craftsky #WIP I unpicked the highest mountain range and will also unpick the next two. Then I used insanely fine black thread (aurifil 80) to create a blurred hazy range. I will wait to do the middle ranges. I have to do blackwork in full, not on a scroll, so I can see it all for balance.

🧶 #WIP #craftsky It’s all blocked out! Now I have to decide how to do shading. I will have to increase the contrast in the mid-range - and possibly outline the masses throughout or significantly darken the tops to get the crispness at the top of the peaks. I will do the shading first.
