I have no idea whether Biden is going to drop out or not, but I have been through enough college football head coaching searches to know that "a spokesman vehemently denies the anonymous rumor" does not necessarily mean it's not true
in fact there is (regrettably) a sitting senator who could be used as an example of this (multiple times!)

More political pundits would benefit from watching actual sports journalism, which is much better journalism than what they do.
