So I deleted a (dull) bleat I posted a little while ago. The reason being, I sent it out, cleaned the bathroom, and sat down again with my phone. And when I scrolled through my feed, saw my post with an embedded link to a survey I surely did not include. What, the actual, Hell?

I am on leave, and cannot find the manual to rest my alarm clock.

Lost in the ongoing Trumpapalooza is the excellent news that a malaria vaccination developed at Oxford Univ. over the last 30 years and costing only £3 per shot is being unrolled in malaria-prone countries. If it fulfills its promise, this will make an enormous difference to so many lives.

Head one way down my street and you’ll come to a budget hotel. Head the other direction, and you’ll eventually come to the train station. So believe me when I say: If your luggage has 4 wheels, it is designed to be pushed on 4 wheels. If you use only two, you will be replacing it much faster.

What sounded like a girl in her late teens or early twenties just passed by. I assume she was on the phone. Because otherwise she just announced to the street that she might as well be Jimmy Fucking Saville at this point, and I don’t think the street needed to know that.

Wow. The Post social media platform is closing down in a week. Like -- gone. Export your posts before then. And if you earned a lot of tips, request payment. Sad. It was nice to have a place to go where there wasn't a character limit. It was a smart place to exchange ideas. And....it died. Hmm.

Just got home from the weekend cleaning job. Washed my hands twice before leaving, and once when I got in. Picked up some coffee and sausages in a bin on the way home. Apparently I have never smelled so interesting before.

The bad part of it being just me and the cat is that when the furry doofus goes missing, I can’t ease my nerves by fussing the cat.

Growing more convinced that I won’t hear the end of AI chatter until some company releases a bot that replaces CEOs.
