Wow, but that attendance figure doesn't surprise me with the reported lines at "line con" on Thurs. I had jotted down a guess of 18K and I wasn't too far off.

Four day weekend for me if you count my all day shift volunteering at Union Fair on Sunday.

What looks like my first possible spammer bot on here. Not sure if those can even be created here. A non-furry has followed this squirrel. Giving them a little time before blocking in hopes they figure out this isn't an account that will interest them should it be a real live individual.

So things aren't going so well. I'm still not employed. I had two Really Solid final rounds last week that both turned into "Oooh, you were our second choice, sorry." I have unemployment, and "food stamps" so that keeps a roof over our head, and the kids fed... and that's it.

Up early like my fursona. Got this new shirt from one of @misterlemur.bsky.social's shops. Love it. My only disappointment was it didn't include a blue potion to make it a reality. So, I remain a human in RL and must continue to pretend to be a squirrel in the Internet.

Any peeps on my f-list heading to the Bangor, ME Pride parade and festival today: Have a good time, and try to keep dry in the hit-and-miss showers.
