This seems like a big deal? "Responding to a question on CNN about whether Harris should be the party’s automatic nominee if the president were to step aside, Clyburn (D-S.C.) said: “Well, I think we’re going to have a mini-primary leading into the convention.”

Yeah. I think Clyburn is the only person talking about this in or to the media to even mention Harris. Which is really fucking telling.

I think common logic is Harris at the top of the ticket doesn't necessarily add many voters to the die hards Biden isn't going to lose. At this point, I'm not convinced Biden withdrawing is going to be more damaging than him staying in, but it's anyone's guess who steps in if he pulls out.

Literally anybody can. The only requirement is submitting written notice of intent the day before.
