I wish we could put the story of what the cops did to her on the front pages of every media outlet that ran bullshit stories about how Minneapolis & Portland were burning.
i only started following her on Twitter well after the eye incident but even in that short time i could see she was a hurricane force of good. this is really upsetting
I always loved when she posted her phone number late at night for anyone who just needed an ear and a voice. I almost called 4-5 times and I wish I had. I don't have a lot to kick in right now but she's damn sure getting what I can share.
I think @phiguru.bsky.social said it is a shame she will miss her funeral because it is sure to be a hell of a party.
I think we should start now, finding reasons to smile and laugh. Celebrating joy and supporting each other.
She's been a fierce voice against the selfish and cruel people all around us. She's done so much good in her time here. May she rest easy and when Death* comes for her, they're going to have quite the conversation.

Thank you for posting this. I am so sad, but at least I could do something. I lost a dear friend to a brain injury, I think these two would have a blast together, so that's the image in my heart. Such good souls! ❤️
