Eggs are still like $3/dozen but it's a good thing Tim Wu & Co. are out there worrying about the "monopoly power" of social media platforms that people pay nothing to use, I guess.
Wow, they haven't been that cheap here for years, I don't think, but they were only a couple of bucks or maybe $2.50/dozen until Pandemicon and the subsequent bird flu craziness. They shot up absurdly at that point; now they're down to ~ $3.50/dozen.

I mean, I like it here, but groceries aren't cheap. I'm lucky enough to have a tiny but absurdly inexpensive apartment in a nice neighborhood with the best landlords in the world, so that skews my outlook, I'm sure. I have no idea what's going to happen whenever they sell (they're in their 80s). :(
