Oh sick you get a little pop up menu when you click it. We can actually tag our art in meaningful ways now. I love getting the option to see all posts in a tag from that user.
They're going to also add outside tags like on Tumblr sometime soon™
They added tags to the backend back in September and took ages to add them to the official app/site while third parties implemented both inline and outside tags pmuch immediately. Many artists have been using them for a while c:

It's a bug that some people are dealing with. The devs are aware of it and I think we should see some fix to it soon.
No idea of why it happens, tho. Also an Android user here, fully updated official app.
At least for me if I press on these bugged tags it does take me to the correct one.
