Happy Pride, everybody! We are still working toward that better world. Let us celebrate where we are, and continue to envision that glorious Up Next. The Revanchists may fight us tooth-and-nail (they always have), but do not give in to despair. On a long enough timeline we win.

Patriarcho-cis-hetero-normativity does not allow, punishes variation. The problem is not queerness, so much as the strictures that necessitated queerness. In a society that accepts variation, there would not be queerness as such, only diversity of expression and experience.
