Have always appreciated being able to get the east coast feed for NYE and get the excitement over early. My tradition is falling asleep on the couch by 10:00 PM PST.

We did this every year when the kids were little. We're on mountain time and watched the NYC ball drop

One of my favorite NYE's when my kids were smol was at Santa's Village in NH, they had fireworks at 8 or 9pm and then everybody went home and went to bed. So good.
