I don’t know if that account is real if if it’s holder has a degree in medicine (given by what university?); but I hope if he has, he doesn’t have a license to practice anywhere.
The tweet is real and I think it's sincere and he really has an MD (1975) and PhD (1990), but he went nuts sometime after 2008 (date of his last published research) and let his license lapse in 2020. But could just be an identity thief.

I also have to keep reminding myself that physicians are, at best, users of medical knowledge and technology. Very few of them have any hands on work producing scientific knowledge.
Being human, they are as prone to fall for conspiracies or cultic control as anyone.
It’s also easy to forget that science is ultimately a process, and being a genius scientist doesn’t mean preclude being wrong (and even very very wrong) about things.
