My boy ate the biggest fly I've ever seen in my life today. Spent 30+ minutes chasing it around the house before pinning it to the window with his nose and devouring it. I'm so proud.

It's been a year since Mom passed (as of yesterday). It went by so quickly. I think about her constantly. I've had so many moments where I wish I could call her and hear her insight on things. But I've felt her presence all summer. So many things are a reminder and a comfort.
