I just finished this book today - Russia by Anthony Beevor. One of the hardest reads in my life. About the revolution and the civil war. The rise of the Bolsheviks. The brutality and loss of life was staggering, and he doesn’t pull punches in the dialogue. I learned a lot about GB’s involvement too!

Same up Tower Hill in the morning .. there’s a crow with a bad leg - I call him Stumpy. Waits for us every morning and flies down for the dog biscuits!! So resourceful .. I’ve got to keep the dogs on the lead or Clyde will chomp him up ! He’s crazy mad barking about birds 🦅!

Aw shucks ! Poor George Galloway is dumped ! He was so distraught he didn’t turn up for the podium .. hardly worth the by election victory a few weeks ago - forced to take his hat off and all !! Who knew he was a wee bit thin up top ??
