This will be doubly awkward as the number of NOMINATIONS required for a candidate to make the Tory Leadership ballot ISN'T a percentage. It's a fixed number. 100 MPs. I'm sure it sounded reasonable at the time. Good luck getting 100 Tory MPs to agree on something when there are only 121 of them.

For people like this is why, as a Spaniard, I don't have respect for those who defend facism and everything it did. And seeing how the country is going just makes me sad.
Amada García Rodriguez (1911 – 1938) was a Galician Communist activist. She lived in the Galician village of Mugardos. She was arrested while pregnant, and after she gave birth she was shot along with seven other people at St Philip's Castle by Francoist military forces during the Spanish Civil War.
