I got comics scheduled out through October that I just want to publish right now but how often does an indie cartoonist get that kind of buffer?
I just finished up the first 4 updated pages of To Wander and it is taking all my energy to not print them out and stick them to the fridge. #comics
The sirens are every Thursday in county where I work but every Wednesday in county I live in. Made working from home for the first year of the pandemic more of an experience than it needed to be.
Updating To Wander with a Greek chorus has been interesting. I struggled with designing the characters in a way that doesn't undermine the point of the comic (figuring drawing practice). I found low budget stage plays to be close to the vibe I wanted and kind of related. #Comics#Art#MakingComics
I have Feedly account just for following YouTube channels that I watch regularly. It doesn't have a TV app but I prefer using the site and the mobile app works well enough.
It has the added benefit of making it clear if someone has fallen off the face of YouTube. Also RSS is cool.
The defining restriction on my comics is trying to make something where I'm most frequently stuck with what is available to me. The hard parts is telling an appropriate story within those limitations and not moving the project to my full setup when I can.

I want to say these are 2017 to 2023 redraws.
I think I'm probably done with themed month challenges. Well, I always drew ahead so the challenge was more about keeping ~30 deadlines and I did that about twice a year on top of my regular posting and day job work load. #Art#Monsters
