I just want to re-up what University of Chicago law professor William Baude said about the Supreme Court’s grant of immunity to presidents in Trump v. U.S., to allow you all to marvel at it. It was dumb when it was written and gets dumber every day.

Zoning should be used for separating obvious nuisances (meaning the technical legal term and examples being toxic waste, etc) from where people live. Not for preventing housing construction, or for preventing commercial activity in residential areas.
