I firmly believe President Biden is the best person to beat Trump, and it pisses me off that ageism and ableism are driving more concern than a felon and rapist who constantly lies while so many reporters and pundits just shrug their shoulders in response. Ludicrous.
Whatever that was last night, you can't really call it a debate. By the moderators not doing any fact checking, it left Biden in the position of having to do it.
Treating both candidates as equal, and trying to apply past standards when all one candidate does is blatantly lie, was ridiculous.
Observing that one is not able to perform the job is not ableism. Also observing that one will never have to live with the consequences of their decisions is not ageism. These are reality.
We Dems can wring our hands like the best. Such a bad habit. You’d never catch a magat doing that. If trump was run over and flattened by a crosstown bus on 5th Avenue, magats would surely say “tis but a scratch”.
