even trump’s campaign staff (i assume he didn’t write this) knows that the reactionary, authoritarian agenda that’s project 2025 is going to be unpopular with the average voter.

I think that's why the current state of the race is so depressing. This feels like it should be a layup. A 3-ft gimme putt.

I mean 74 million Americans looked around in 2020 and said, "Four more years of this. That's what I want!" In my world that would be closer to 7.4 people, but he has an appeal. I can't figure it out but it's there.

All the more reason for the DNC to be busy hanging this around Trump’s neck like yesterday and making it the centerpiece of the campaign instead of droning on about economic statistics.
