I've sent my latest revised novel to 11 readers, including 4 YA aged folx. Now I need to work on something else so my anxiety doesn't shred me. I've got a short story that looks promising.

EJ Temple pedaled hard, wishing they could ride away from their anger and frustration. She could at least try, EJ thought, tears welling up. It’s like I’m not important enough to even attempt using my pronouns.

My partner has been asking me to shave off my mustache off and on for ages. I did it today as a gift for their 50th. The reaction I got from them has me thinking about keeping it off for a while. Reaction being they wanted to immediately 'hop on pop' ;) What do yall think?
