when i was at oberlin in 1990 there was this french count. lived in “french house” (a residence on campus). wore a big fleur-de-lis brooch on top of his heavily tailored clothes. threw orgies. typical french count shit. so anyway he was from binghamton.

I was JUST saying this!! Back in the day, it was the quickest, easiest way to learn about platforms and whatnot. We have the internet now. We can search and see what they stand for. Historically, bad debate performance is used as some measure of governing ability. The two are not equivalent.
