If we’re talking about older works we love and want to tell people about, this movie continues to be un-fuckable-with. Endlessly-rewatchable as far as I’m concerned. Pure sci-fi.

Chris Tucker throws himself 150% into this movie and that alone should sell you on it.

Dinner tonight is salmon with garlic, ginger, and chili crisp, and ginger jasmine rice (risking stovetop again until I can replace my rice cooker). I think we’ve got some Trader Joe’s scallion pancakes in the freezer too.

Dinner is ready. Lemon-parsley-Parmesan-breadcrumb crusted chicken, pounded flat and fried. Pasta with red peppers and sautéed spinach with a sorta-sauce of butter, lemon, garlic, thyme, and red pepper.
