“Bleeding” kyber crystals came out of the backstory of “The Gathering” episode of S5 The Clone Wars. Didn’t really surface in a story until the Ahsoka novel and then The Rise of Kylo Ren comic.

The Original Trilogy and Legends presented a very romanticized version of the Jedi, but the Prequels, Sequels, The High Republic, etc., have presented a much more nuanced (and, to my mind, more realistic) take on the Jedi, showing their flaws and how they fell short of their own ideals.

Netflix is a disease. I don’t even like the. 84 film but Netflix is a disease.

When he’s right, he’s right. Truly wild that Netflix isn’t sending this to theaters to do massive numbers this holiday weekend.

A co-worker pointed out that I’m the worst kind of famous in that if you know who I am, the odds that you’re also very damaged is quite high.

Agreed. Normally the action episodes that get the most attention from my fellow fans (the first half of shadow warrior, the sin) are actually my least favorite. But this was a great example of action serving the story that I was really impressed with.

The takeaway Disney execs *should* have at Inside Out 2 dominating at the box office is not "More sequels!", but "Pixar should make original films!" Pixar's big box-office successes are primarily sequels...to original films. People want more of what they like. They like Pixar's originality.
